Bead breaker cylinder repair kit - Replacement for Giuliano
We offer a high quality sealing kit designed to recondition the bead breaker cylinder on popular Giuliano tyre changer models. It is a complete repair package to restore full performance and bead breaking force, eliminating leaks and pressure drops in the pneumatic system.
Loss of bead breaker (blade) power is one of the most common faults in tyre changers, caused by natural wear of the rubber components inside the cylinder. Our repair kit is a proven replacement that guarantees tightness and a long service life after reconditioning.
Compatibility and application
Fits Giuliano models: S 116, S 119, S 226, S 228.
The kit is intended for cylinders with a diameter of 200 mm.
Set contents
The kit contains all the necessary components to fully seal the cylinder (as numbered in the diagram):
- 1. Sealing O-ring: Seal fitted to the cylinder housing (cover) to prevent air from escaping at the joint of the housing components.
- 2. Piston seals (2 pieces): Main sealing rings working on the piston inside the cylinder (200 mm). They are responsible for maintaining compression and pressure force.
- 3. Small O-ring: Internal seal mounted on the piston rod.
- 4. Wiper seal: A ring embedded in the gland that seals the piston rod movement and prevents contaminants from entering the cylinder.
By choosing this product, you get a complete set of seals that will allow you to service the machine yourself and avoid costly replacement of the entire cylinder.

What cables do I need for my two-post lift?
Check the rope termination. If there are any markings on it, the total rope length is very often indicated as well, e.g., L8920. This means the rope length is 8.92 m.
Additionally, to correctly select the rope, you need to provide the following technical parameters:
- Rope diameter – measured in the middle section (e.g., 8 mm, 9 mm or 10 mm)
- Thread – diameter (e.g., M16)
- Thread – length – length of the threaded section (e.g., 14 cm)

What is my machine's model?
- Find the nameplate on the device – it usually contains key information, such as:
- Manufacturer
- Device model
- Year of manufacture
- Serial number
