Nussbaum replacement – steel cable for SPL 3000 / SPL 4000 / SPL 4500 vehicle lifts
This is the tallest version of the SPL 4000 lift, over 4.5 metres in height with a cable length of 12.45 m.
We offer a high-quality replacement steel cable for Nussbaum two-post lifts: SPL 3000, SPL 4000, SPL 4500. This is a precision-made synchronising cable that ensures even lifting of both columns and safe operation of the lift in a vehicle workshop.
NOTE: Top-mounted lifts come in different versions; this 12.45 m cable version is suitable for lifts with extensions where the total column height is approximately 4.5 metres.
NOTE: There are 2 cables in the lift. The price is for 1 piece – for correct and safe operation, we recommend replacing the cables in pairs (order 2 pieces at once).

The steel cable is designed for Nussbaum SPL series two-post lifts:
- Nussbaum SPL 3000 lift
- Nussbaum SPL 4000 lift
- Nussbaum SPL 4500 lift
It is a replacement for the original synchronising cable used in these models – ideal for servicing, routine repairs and periodic inspections of the lifting equipment.
What is this cable used for?
The cable acts as a synchronising cable in a two-post lift. Its functions:
- ensures even lifting and lowering of both columns
- stabilises the vehicle on the lift, limiting tilting
- works in conjunction with the hydraulic system, increasing operational safety
- is of key importance during acceptance tests and inspections of the lifting equipment
