Nussbaum replacement - steel elevator rope SPL 3500 / SPL 8000
High quality **Nussbaum steel elevator rope** designed for models:
- SPL 3500
- SPL 8000
This is a premium replacement, made of heavy-duty steel wire rope for use on vehicle lifts with mechanical arm synchronisation (the rope system used on the SPL series).
Used as a synchro/equalizer cable (so-called equalizer cable), responsible for the even movement of both columns when raising and lowering the vehicle.
Key product features
- Cable replacement for Nussbaum SPL 3500 / SPL 8000 lift systems
- Steel cable for mechanical lift arm synchronisation system
- End pieces prepared for fitting to original fixing points
- High tensile strength and fatigue resistance (cyclic operation in lifts)
- suitable for intensive use in workshop conditions.
Please note: Nussbaum SPL 3500 / SPL 8000 is equipped with two cables.
The price is for one rope.
For safety and the even operation of the lift, we always recommend replacing the ropes in pairs - if one rope needs to be replaced, buy two at once.
Certificates and compliance with regulations (UDT)
The rope on offer has a set of required certificates so that it can be legally used in vehicle lifts supervised by the UDT. Together with the product you receive:
- a certificate of conformity with European standards
- certificate for UDT - confirming the possibility of using the rope in devices subject to technical supervision
- compliance with the DE 2006/42/EC Machinery Directive
- compliance with the PN-EN-ISO 12100-1-2012 standard (machine safety - general principles for design).
Thanks to the attached certificates, the rope can be easily demonstrated during UDT inspections - there is no need for additional confirmation of its approval for use in the lift.
Rope function in the Nussbaum SPL elevator
The SPL series lifts use mechanical synchronisation - the movement of the two columns is precisely aligned by means of wire ropes guided through blocks in the upper part of the structure.
- ensures equal lifting and lowering of both arms
- stabilises the vehicle on the lift and keeps it level
- affects the safety of the mechanic's work under the vehicle
A damaged, stretched or corroded rope can cause uneven operation of the columns, tilting of the vehicle and, in extreme cases, a serious risk to the lift user. Regular inspection and timely replacement of cables is an essential part of lift service.
Why choose this replacement?
- Reliable compatibility with the Nussbaum SPL 3500 and SPL 8000 lift systems.
- Industrial quality - rope made for use in lifting equipment.
- fully documented and certified - no problems during acceptance and UDT inspections
- attractive cost alternative to original manufacturer's parts
If your Nussbaum SPL 3500 / SPL 8000 hoist starts to lift unevenly, you hear disturbing noises from the upper beam or there are signs of wear on the ropes - it is time to replace them. For the safety of your workshop, replace both ropes at the same time.
Important purchase information
- Price is for 1 piece of rope.
- The SPL 3500 / SPL 8000 is equipped with 2 cables.
- Recommendation: always change ropes in pairs - for correct synchronisation and safety.
