Upper limit switch for Weber lifts – Klassik and Profi

We offer a high-quality upper limit switch, which is a key component of the safety system in column car lifts. It is a dedicated replacement for Weber devices, designed to ensure reliable operation and full control over the machine's working range.

Key function: Shuts down the lifting process when the lift carriages reach their end position.

Principle of operation and design

The task of this component is to cut off the power supply to the hydraulic pump when the lift reaches its maximum height. This protects the hydraulic system from overload and prevents mechanical damage to the structure (e.g. pushing out the cylinder piston). The switch is equipped with an adjustable arm with a roller, which allows for precise calibration of the stop point.

The robust blue housing (type ME-8108) ensures resistance to contamination and harsh conditions in a car workshop.

Compatibility

The part has been tested and is fully compatible with popular Weber lift models. The correct selection of the limit switch is essential to maintain the CE certification of the device.

What cables do I need for my two-post lift?

Check the rope termination. If there are any markings on it, the total rope length is very often indicated as well, e.g., L8920. This means the rope length is 8.92 m.

Additionally, to correctly select the rope, you need to provide the following technical parameters:

Rope diameter – measured in the middle section (e.g., 8 mm, 9 mm or 10 mm)
Thread – diameter (e.g., M16)
Thread – length – length of the threaded section (e.g., 14 cm)

What is my machine's model?

Find the nameplate on the device – it usually contains key information, such as:
- Manufacturer
- Device model
- Year of manufacture
- Serial number
