DIN rail mounting bracket with screw terminals for time relays
The base is used to connect and mount a time relay within a control system. It has eight screw terminals for connecting wires and a latch at the bottom of the housing for mounting on a DIN rail.
The terminal block is marked with terminal numbers 1–8; therefore, wires must be connected in accordance with the wiring diagram for the specific timer. The numbering of the terminal block must correspond to the timer’s terminals — connections must not be made solely on the basis of the position of the terminals.
Compatibility
The base is compatible with the following time relays:
- P-CZAS-0014
- P-CZAS-0015
- P-CZAS-0016
- P-CZAS-0017

Installation and maintenance instructions
Before connecting the wires, check that the markings on the relay correspond to the numbering on the base. In time relays, mixing up the power supply terminals, control input and output contacts may cause the system to malfunction, and applying voltage to the wrong terminal may damage the relay or components of the controller.
Screw terminals should grip the wire securely and without any play. A loose wire increases the resistance of the connection; the first signs may include erratic operation of the relay, momentary signal dropouts or a single terminal becoming hot, before visible scorching of the casing occurs.
When replacing a relay, ensure that its terminals fit into the socket without being forced in at an angle. Any play in the socket, bent contacts or the relay being only partially inserted will increase the resistance of the connection and may transmit vibrations to the terminals and wires.
The yellow latch allows the socket to be secured on the DIN rail. Before connecting the wires, check that the socket is correctly seated on the rail; the tension in the wires should not exert force on the latch or cause the entire socket to tilt.
Important: the base acts as an intermediary between the relay and the installation. It does not replace circuit protection or surge suppression components. Load parameters must be taken from the documentation for the time relay used and the entire control system.

Frequently Asked Questions
What cables do I need for my two-post lift?
Check the rope termination. If there are any markings on it, the total rope length is very often indicated as well, e.g., L8920. This means the rope length is 8.92 m.
Additionally, to correctly select the rope, you need to provide the following technical parameters:
- Rope diameter – measured in the middle section (e.g., 8 mm, 9 mm or 10 mm)
- Thread – diameter (e.g., M16)
- Thread – length – length of the threaded section (e.g., 14 cm)
The drawing below shows the parameters that must be provided when ordering the rope:
What is my machine's model?
- Find the nameplate on the device – it usually contains key information, such as:
- Manufacturer
- Device model
- Year of manufacture
- Serial number
- If you cannot find the nameplate and do not have the technical documentation, selecting parts based on the model may be difficult. In this situation, we recommend searching for parts by category, photos, and dimensions, which often allows you to precisely match the correct component.
Can I return or exchange the part if it doesn't fit?
If the ordered part doesn’t fit, you can return or exchange it within 30 days of the purchase date.
For the return to be accepted, the part must:
- be unused and undamaged,
- show no signs of installation,
- be sent back in its original or appropriately secured packaging.
We care about your shopping experience, so the return process is quick and hassle-free. If you have any doubts, contact us – we’ll be happy to help you choose the right part or guide you through the return process.
