Car jack pad – square, 7.5 cm
The pad is used between the jack’s foot or plate and the vehicle’s support point. Its square surface measures 7.5 × 7.5 cm, and the two raised support areas are separated by a central recess. This design allows the jack component to rest on both sides of a rib or the edge of the lifting point, rather than resting directly on a single flat point.
Important when selecting: the width and depth of the pad are 7.5 cm, so before fitting, you must check whether the surface of the jack foot fits under the pad and whether the central recess matches the geometry of the car’s support point.

Where the pad is used
The pad is situated at the point where the jack’s foot contacts the chassis. It distributes the pressure across the two side surfaces and prevents the metal foot from coming into contact with a painted or anti-corrosion-treated body panel. The central channel can be used to bypass a protruding embossing, edge or component located in the axis of the lifting point.
The spacer does not replace the vehicle’s factory-fitted support point. Its positioning must correspond to the location specified by the car manufacturer; shifting the support onto a flat section of the floor panel, a sill or a protective component may lead to deformation of the supported component despite the jack being correctly positioned.
Checks during use
- Before lifting, check that the jack foot supports the pad centrally, and not just on one of the two side areas.
- If the pad begins to tilt on the jack foot, slide out of the support point or leaves an uneven pressure mark, continuing to raise the vehicle increases the risk of it slipping off the jack.
- Deformation of the side edges, permanent flattening of one zone or enlargement of the central recess alters the pressure distribution and may transfer the load to the sill rather than the correct lifting point.
- Grooves on the upper surfaces should not be filled with material that reduces the stability of the support or causes point-load contact.
Practical tip: after lowering the vehicle, it is worth checking the contact mark on both raised surfaces. An even mark on both the left and right sides confirms that the pressure was distributed across the entire width of the pad; a mark on only one side indicates incorrect positioning or a misalignment with the lifting point.
Application
The pad may be used as an intermediate element when lifting a car on a jack, provided its dimensions and shape correspond to the jack’s jaw and the support point of the specific vehicle. The product specifications do not list specific models of jacks or cars; therefore, compatibility must be confirmed on the basis of the dimensions and shape of the lifting point.

What cables do I need for my two-post lift?
Check the rope termination. If there are any markings on it, the total rope length is very often indicated as well, e.g., L8920. This means the rope length is 8.92 m.
Additionally, to correctly select the rope, you need to provide the following technical parameters:
- Rope diameter – measured in the middle section (e.g., 8 mm, 9 mm or 10 mm)
- Thread – diameter (e.g., M16)
- Thread – length – length of the threaded section (e.g., 14 cm)

What is my machine's model?
- Find the nameplate on the device – it usually contains key information, such as:
