Valve block by the pedal – complete, aluminium Type I
A complete aluminium valve block mounted on the tyre changer’s pedal. This component distributes and controls the flow of compressed air to the individual machine functions operated by the pedal. Replacing the entire assembly is the correct solution when the body, control spindle, connections or sealing components have all worn out at the same time.
The aluminium body replaces older versions of the valve block used in tyre changer control systems. The product is supplied as a complete unit, with the pneumatic connections and silencers shown in the photographs already fitted.
Technical data
| Type | I |
| Body material | Aluminium |
| Overall length | 155 mm |
| Pneumatic connections | for hoses with a diameter of 8 mm |
| Shank diameter | 10 mm |
| Diameter of the threaded part of the shank | 8 mm |
| Version | complete, aluminium |
Application and compatibility:
Before ordering, please compare the total length, spindle diameter, position of the 8 mm connections and method of securing the pedal axle with the removed component. The existence of similar plastic or aluminium blocks does not imply compatibility – differences in the position of the ports and the length of the spindle may prevent the valves from operating correctly.
Important when selecting: check the number of connections and the geometry of the spindle. Even a slight difference in its length or the position of the thread may result in the valve not opening fully when the pedal is pressed.
Signs of valve block wear
- a hissing sound when the pedal is released,
- delayed actuator response when the pedal is pressed,
- uneven or sluggish operation of the ram or assembly table,
- the actuator moving slowly of its own accord after the pedal is released,
- the need to press the pedal deeper than before,
- the pedal failing to return fully to the neutral position,
- air escaping from the spindle or quick-release couplings.
A worn block can cause both a drop in the actuator’s performance and continuous compressor operation. A leak on the control side also puts a strain on the oiler and the air preparation unit, whilst incomplete valve switching can cause the actuator to jerk rather than move smoothly.
Installation and inspection after replacement
Pneumatic hoses must be reconnected to the same fittings, as swapping them may reverse the operation of individual pedal functions. Before disconnecting the old unit, it is advisable to mark the hoses according to their position, and after installation, check each function separately: actuator movement, return after releasing the pedal, and airtightness in the neutral position.
The hose inserted into the quick-connect coupling should have a straight, undamaged end. A kinked hose or one inserted too short may cause a leak, which can easily be mistakenly attributed to a fault in the new valve block.
If the valve block is only partially functional after replacement, first check the order of the hoses, the position of the spindle relative to the pedal, and that the supply hose is clear. The new valve block alone will not resolve a flow restriction caused by a kinked hose or contamination in the pneumatic system.

Frequently Asked Questions
What cables do I need for my two-post lift?
Check the rope termination. If there are any markings on it, the total rope length is very often indicated as well, e.g., L8920. This means the rope length is 8.92 m.
Additionally, to correctly select the rope, you need to provide the following technical parameters:
- Rope diameter – measured in the middle section (e.g., 8 mm, 9 mm or 10 mm)
- Thread – diameter (e.g., M16)
- Thread – length – length of the threaded section (e.g., 14 cm)
The drawing below shows the parameters that must be provided when ordering the rope:
What is my machine's model?
- Find the nameplate on the device – it usually contains key information, such as:
- Manufacturer
- Device model
- Year of manufacture
- Serial number
- If you cannot find the nameplate and do not have the technical documentation, selecting parts based on the model may be difficult. In this situation, we recommend searching for parts by category, photos, and dimensions, which often allows you to precisely match the correct component.
Can I return or exchange the part if it doesn't fit?
If the ordered part doesn’t fit, you can return or exchange it within 30 days of the purchase date.
For the return to be accepted, the part must:
- be unused and undamaged,
- show no signs of installation,
- be sent back in its original or appropriately secured packaging.
We care about your shopping experience, so the return process is quick and hassle-free. If you have any doubts, contact us – we’ll be happy to help you choose the right part or guide you through the return process.
