Application and purpose

The actuator is designed as a key component of the assembler locking system, responsible for precise positioning and immobilisation of the working arms in the vertical and horizontal planes. It is suitable for

TC 720-type tyre changers (as an Invento replacement),
E-type lifts/assemblers with similar locking system design,
Automotive workshops, tyre service workshops, vulcanisation centres.

The actuator is the No. 1 position on the assembly diagram of the locking system - its efficiency determines the safety of the assembly unit and the quality of the wheel handling.

Robust two-part construction

The actuator has a two-part construction:

upper dome made of metal with brushed finish - increased resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage,
reinforced base in high-quality technical plastic - stable seating in the machine body.

Steel components have been surface-treated to reduce corrosion in demanding workshop environments (dust, moisture, workshop chemicals).

Smooth movement in two planes

An optimised guidance system is used internally, which enables:

smooth vertical movement (up and down),
precise positioning in the horizontal plane (right-left),
minimised friction and reduced wear on mating components.

The specially designed internal profile extends the life of the actuator, resulting in less downtime and lower maintenance costs for the assembler.

Stable and simple mounting

The actuator is equipped with a two-screw mounting system that guarantees secure attachment to the machine body:

mounting screw spacing: 30 mm,
compact dimensions allow easy replacement in an existing installation,
hydraulic connection: 1/8" (8.5 mm) - a standard found on many assembly machines.

What cables do I need for my two-post lift?

Check the rope termination. If there are any markings on it, the total rope length is very often indicated as well, e.g., L8920. This means the rope length is 8.92 m.

Additionally, to correctly select the rope, you need to provide the following technical parameters:

Rope diameter – measured in the middle section (e.g., 8 mm, 9 mm or 10 mm)
Thread – diameter (e.g., M16)
Thread – length – length of the threaded section (e.g., 14 cm)
