Dunlop replacement: DL-45 steel lift cable

We offer a high quality steel cable designed for the Dunlop DL-45 double column lift, a reliable replacement that ensures full compatibility, safety and synchronisation of lift trucks. The product is dedicated to car services, workshops and vehicle service stations using Dunlop DL-45 series lifts.

The rope is certified to European standards and by the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT). As a result, it can be safely used on vehicle lifts and passes UDT inspections without any problems.

Compatibility: Replacement for Dunlop DL-45 car lift (2-column, lifting capacity up to 4000 kg).

Application:
The rope is designed to be fitted to the Dunlop DL-45 lift as shown in the diagram in the picture below. Two ropes are used on the lift - each is responsible for one side of the lift (marked as 1 and 2 in the diagram).

The photograph shows the steel cable for the Dunlop DL-45 lifter, together with the technical dimensions of the component, allowing easy identification and fitting of the part.

Please note that the price is for one piece of rope. There are two ropes in the lifter - we recommend replacing both at the same time for complete safety and efficiency. It is best to buy two ropes at once!

What cables do I need for my two-post lift?

Check the rope termination. If there are any markings on it, the total rope length is very often indicated as well, e.g., L8920. This means the rope length is 8.92 m.

Additionally, to correctly select the rope, you need to provide the following technical parameters:

Rope diameter – measured in the middle section (e.g., 8 mm, 9 mm or 10 mm)
Thread – diameter (e.g., M16)
Thread – length – length of the threaded section (e.g., 14 cm)

What is my machine's model?

Find the nameplate on the device – it usually contains key information, such as:
- Manufacturer
- Device model
- Year of manufacture
- Serial number
If you cannot find the nameplate and do not have the technical documentation, selecting parts based on the model may be difficult. In this situation, we recommend searching for parts by category, photos, and dimensions, which often allows you to precisely match the correct component.
