Car lift valves
Car lift valves control the oil flow in the hydraulic power unit: they raise the arms, hold them under load and lower them at a controlled speed. Pneumatic solenoid valves for lifts and tyre changers are also included.
Available: lowering valves with 18, 19, 20, 22 and 27 mm threads (13 or 16 mm coil stem, with emergency lowering button or screw, or in a set with a 24 V DC or 220 V AC coil), check and safety valves with 18, 19 and 20 mm threads, relief and overload valves G19 and G20, and pneumatic solenoid valves 3V210-08-NC (3/2, 24 V DC or 220 V AC, 0.15–0.8 MPa) and 5/2 24 V DC.
How to choose a car lift valve
Remove the old valve and check:
- valve type – lowering, check, safety or relief; each has a different job and they are not interchangeable,
- thread and body length – measure the thread (18, 19, 20, 22 or 27 mm) and the body length,
- coil stem – 13 or 16 mm, the same as the coil bore,
- emergency lowering – if the old valve had a button or screw for manual lowering, choose the same.
Motor runs but the lift won't raise? Check the oil level and condition first. Lift manufacturers list a leaking lowering or relief valve, air in the oil and a clogged inlet screen as typical causes. A dirty lowering valve can often be flushed.
Lowering valve with or without a coil
If the coil works and only the valve leaks, buy a lowering valve with the same stem diameter. Not sure whether the coil or the valve is at fault? Choose a coil-and-valve set or see our solenoid coils. Match a pneumatic solenoid valve by type (3/2 or 5/2), coil voltage and working pressure.
